Avere un supporto analogico, invece che digitale, porta a sperimentare in camera oscura sporcandosi le mani. Gli oggetti di uso quotidiano diventano attrezzi coi quali ingegnarsi, giochi coi quali divertirsi, creando immagini artigianali, puntando il riflettore su alcuni soggetti della foto, celandone altri. Negli anni, gli strumenti utilizzati richiamano le nature più svariate. I risultati sono sempre diversi, quanto più complesso è il disegno, i tempi di esposizione, l'immancabile errore, compagno del caso, della voglia o della mancanza della stessa di passare del tempo alla luce fioca di una lampadina rossa.

When you work on an analog format, you find yourself experiencing something new in the darkroom, getting your hands dirty. You’re forced to endeavour new solutions with everyday objects, enjoying them and those handmade images. You decide to shine some subject and hide another one. Year by year the tools change referring to different origins. Results change, according to the image’s complexity, the exposure times, the unmissable mistake brought by the chance: everything change depending how much time you wish to spend at the faint red light of the darkroom.
